After my Bar Mitzvah, I asked to continue learning with Cantor Sokoloff for a year. That was 14 years ago, and to this day I count Cantor Sokoloff as a mentor, a teacher and a friend. If you are looking for a private tutor for your child, look no further. He is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and a wonderful teacher. My only warning is that what starts out as a tutor-teacher relationship between your child and Cantor Sokoloff may turn into a life-long friendship between him and your family. Buyer beware!
