About Cantor Sokoloff
Message from Cantor Sokoloff
Becoming a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is about so much more than the ceremony; it is a transformational life cycle event that prepares one to take responsibility for his/her life decisions. It is about deepening one’s Jewish identity, asking questions, and feeling empowered in Jewish community life.
I am humbled and inspired by my opportunity to be involved in this experience for so many families. I treat my students with trust and confidence, encouraging them to succeed, while being there to provide support when needed. As a religious community leader, I am committed to guiding each family member through this special time in a way that is personally comfortable and meaningful. I aspire to share my passion and joy for Judaism with you and your family.
While most life cycle events occur at unexpected times, the Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience is one that we can plan for; let me help you make this a positive and memorable experience for your entire family.
